Hi,

Assalamualaikum brothers...

This is Riaz from Dhaka, BD. I am engineer by profession. My wife is a Medical doctor with 4+ years of professional experience and she is the primary applicant. We are all set to launch application except some last moments checking in the application forms. Here I have few queries in filling the forms. I shall be very glad if anybody can help me with these quires-

  1) My wife's name is " B.. M.. " which is printed correctly in all her certificates. But in her passport it is printed as "DR. B.. M..". Now in the FORM IMM0008- it is mentioned that you should give the name as it is printed in the PASSPORT and do not use any initial. So what "name" (DR. B.. M.. / B.. M..) we should print in the application form?

 2) In the FORM IMM5669E we need to give all the addresses that we live since 18th birthday? Do I need give the addresses of  my 1 week stay in INDIA in 2001 and 1 week stay in CHINA in 2005?

 3) Due to job placement I was in Pakistan from Mar-2008 to Jan-2009. I came to BD for 2 weeks during my 11 months stay in Pak. I stayed less than 6 consecutive months in Pakistan in each stays. Do I need a police clearance certificate from Pakistan? (N.B. It is written that one need to submit PCC if he stay in a country consecutive six months or more )

Thanks in advance for your help.

Dear Mr. Riaz.. For your first question I will recomand you to Keep only B.M without Dr., Second and third I will just forget... If you says you lived in Pakistan more that 6 months you must provide a Police Certificate From there as well as China.. I think those will complicate your case...This is my opinion.. Good luck..

Hi.. For new future immigrants.. I will highly recommend you the followings:

1. check up yours and families teeth and eyes completely if necessary treat them and purchase glasses (2 pairs/ person)
2. Bring First aids medication at least for 6 months
3. Take a Driving License at any cost.
4. Quite Smoking if you do so, otherwise bring as much as possible (200 sticks per adult). In Canada you may have to purchase $12(800 BDT) per packet.

.....
5. Bring something special for us "Bangladeshi".... we are so far from our Mathi.

Thanks

Emu bhai,

Congratulations............ You are so lucky... Wishing you best of luck

Dear

As I pledged you earlier , I am now sharing landing experience here . we were three me , my spouse and the little kid landed at the Pearson  international  at 4.50 pm. The day was sunny and everything was looked so organised  and systematic. We traveled via Turkish airlines  and we found the service was moderate this time. After landing at the Pearson, we were directed to the new comers counter.  I found  none in the Que but later the Que turned  long for 4 new comers. The CBSA officer was so curious  about the kid rather than my presence before the counter. The lady at the counter was just enjoying the smile  and gesture of my baby.after  a few minutes , we told her about our presence  and landing . subsequently we gave  passports and COPR  before her . She checked all those and  things were finished in 10 to 15 minutes only .please note that the lady at the counter just asked about the amount of money I am carrying  and I told her . I was tensed about the amount as it was not satisfying the amount required for three members .But she did  not ask to show the amount. She told me that  she will make kid permanent resident first , kidding ! then..then...yea obviously you (me and my spouse ) will get the same! dončt worry for that! She spent more time with my baby smiling , kidding  all the time.  after asking my new address ,She signed all the papers  and pinned the copy of the COPR in our passports.she  handed a baby toy to the baby. may be she bought  some others for her baby too. she welcomed us in Canada  and directed to a counter where we are given some booklets and information sheet for the new comers . we  went to collect our luggage and custom formalities were done in only 1 mint. The lady at the custom did not ask for any list , rather she let us pass quickly. later we were awaiting at terminal no. 1. My friend took us to the resident in Mississauga.  This is a brief  story of  what we call landing!   Thanks a lot for you who came forward helping me during case processing ! wishing you a wonderful landing  for  awaited visa receiver and faster case processing for the applicants  .

wishes
