CHC Singapore is not a court house nor they have huge inventory to keep all the papers. You don't need to give separate affidavits for all translated documents. in Past they have accepted translations with no affidavits. it depends on VO's. its still safe to give a single affidavit for all the translations.

Dear munnabd
Another question please. Should i give affidavit for every translated document or only one affidavit is enough for all document.

CHC Singapore is not a court house. You don't need to give affidavit for any translated documents. Nothing is said anywhere by CIC.

hello,

According to the EG7 booklet (Page 20):
Translation of documents
Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:
• the English or French translation; and
• an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
• a certified copy of the document.

Note: An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. Translations by family members are not acceptable.

So, YES, you should submit that affidavit. You should follow all CIC instruction, which will increase that chance of your application to get into process quickly.

Factors that can facilitate processing
According to CIC:   There are certain things you can do to help ensure that your application is processed as fast as possible:
• make sure that all the documentation and information requested are provided with your application
• advise the visa office, where you submitted your application, of any change to your contact information. This includes:
o mailing address
o telephone number
o facsimile number (fax)
o e-mail address

Factors that can facilitate processing
According to Dr.Hasib
:

- Try to submit Colour photocopy of every document. I did it and got the benefit.
THe one who adviced you not to submit affidavit of translation had been requested furthur documents by SGVO and now he is in the dark room of frustration/agony....

FAQ:
Q: Is it necessary to get affidavit of translation on 50 taka stamp?
A: NO. it's enough to get the affidavit on translator's official letterhead/pad; signed, dated, stamped by the translator, followed by Notarized by a notary public

Q: Can you provide me with a sample of affidavit of translation?
A: YES....
ONLY ONE AFFIDAVIT IS REQUIRED

                                          Affidavit of Translation

I, Md. Ismail hereby certify that I am fluent in English and Bengali languages & I am competent to perform the translation.  I have translated the document titled “National ID Card”...... which is/are attached to this Affidavit.

I further certify that, the attached document is a true and complete translation of the original document from Bengali into English.

Cheesy Cheesy
Mute man,
Thanks for having your faith on my prediction/analysis.
Before answering your question, at first i want to point out which post june applicants are getting MR right now. As far as I know, SGVO is currently issuing MR to December 2010 applicants. However, a Dentist friend of mine, who applied in Feb 2011 got his visa in Aug 2011, and a Doctor friend of mine (Forum member: pulok vi) applied in Aug2010 is still waiting for MR. Therefore, few applicants might need to wait for short period whereas few applicants might need to wait for long period.

When you/Jan 2011 applicants can expect MR:

Even a month ago, I had no idea about this, but now I believe I can predict about this as well. 2 friends of mine ordered for CAIPS and I discovered a very important info from their CAIPS report.
There is a relation between PER date and MR. the deadline of Receiving MR is just 1 year ahead from the date your PER was issued. This rule is solely for post june applicants since pre june applicants don't get PER. Moreover, CIC is committed to finalize post june applicants processing within 12 months (might take 15 months for few applicants as per my understanding)
You applied in Jan 2011, got PER in March 2011 so you deadline of receiving MR is March 2012. Good news is case officers usually issue MR 2-3 months before the deadline. So, as per my prediction, you will get your MR in Nov 2011/Dec 2011.

Good luck.

BR
Dr.Hasib

Dr. Hasib Bhai,

I like your prediction and assessment regading matters like this. You are really great. Please provide us if you have any more tips.............

Without being absolutely sure don't comment confidently.Translator needs to declare that he is good in various languages,so affidavit isnt unnecessary
