Hi...Some queries:

At the time of submission of full set of dox, I provided my proof of funds for family of four by Bank Certification (in their format) of the required balance( + a little higher ) in my Savings A/c. Since then (Aug) I converted the required amount into a FD for 2 years breakable anytime in between.

NOW what I want to know:

1)Can I transfer this FD amount to a new Jt Savings A/c as I want to close the previous Savings a/c?
    and show this balance as POF when Call for Medical comes? This new a/c would not cover the past 1 year if so requested by CHC.(The address is my Calcutta address frm where I had applied)

2)  Earlier my Spouse has shown her experience as private tutor. From April this year , she is employed as Day Care Teacher / Montessori Teacher. Do I need to inform CHC of this change? And she is employed in Faridabad. Previously we were in Calcutta.She relocated April whereas myself in August.

Do offer me your suggestions / advice so that I can take necessary action before my medicals come.

For your point no 1 its better to keep as its is as FDR balance (as was given at the time of your full application) and just change the status of your funds after u get visa.

for point no 2 you need not to give any information about change of job status after the date of full application to chc new delhi. But ensure that in case of phone inquiry her earlier employer should be quite right while giving the reply of inquiry about her job with him(employer).

Thanks...I think that is a very fair response.

What I was thinking was open a new jt savings a/c with spouse. When call for medical comes(if they need me to give pof) I could transfer this FD to that a/c (as in this period a certain interest would have accumulated) and provide that as my POF to which additional amount can be added later.What do you think of this possibility?

Sorry ...I did not explain it in full.

At the time of submission of dox, POF I showed was in form of Savings A/c. But a fortnight later the amt reqd for a family of four (+ a little higher) was converted into a FD in jt names( me and spouse) for two yrs (this FD can be broken any time before maturity).
Now I want to close this Savings a/c. Should I open a new Savings A/c and transfer this FD into it and show it as POF at the time of medicals (in case I am asked to show
POF)?

Documents to CHC were sent on 15/June/2010;  here I am taking the date of receipt by CHC.  CHC issued the AOR on 24/06/2010.  However, my status is still showing as RBVO.  It looks like June AORs are not yet processed. Any idea why it is taking so long to process? Thanks for the feedback.

Hello friends as we all are struggling with wait times, i ve mailed to NEW DELHI office regarding our MI-1 cases below is that mail

           I am a FSW applicant under MI-1. As i am aware that CIC had received PR applications more than it could process .So CIC has put that MI-1 applications on hold for certain period and conveyed to applicants that it will take 2 or more years to be finalized. i ve sent my full documents to your office in july 2010 followed by CIO approval . I just want know that after recent changes and visa targets announced by honorable minster ,whether your office will process some MI-1 cases under this new 2012 targets? Please understand i don't want a diplomatic ensurence  its ok if your office will not going process them because its good for me to be in light rather than in dark hope cos we are professionals we have to plan our career and future, like my marriage and my job transfer is on hold (in hope of PR)

So i request you to  please tell me truth whether our cases have stakes in 2012 visa targets or not so that we can plan our life according 

I hope you ve understood our situation and will not give me a that typical reply of 2 years or more time

SECONDLY IF YOU SEE CANADIAN PARLIAMENT WEBSITE ,STANDING COMMITTEE OF IMMIGRATION HAD HOLD MANY MEETING ON BACKLOG AND NEXT IS ON 13TH DECEMBER .ALL WE NEED TO LOBBY IN THAT COMMITTEE BY MAILING OPPOSITION MEMBERS LIKE DON DAVIS and JUSTIFY THEM THAT CONSERVATIVE GOVT IS CLAIMING FALSE CLAIM OF REFORMING IMMIGRATION SYSTEM COS THEY MADE PROMISE IN 2008,2009  BUT NEVER FULFILLED THEM ,WHY mi-1 IS NOT BEING PROCESSED IN ORDER IT WAS RECEIVED ?? IF THEY SAY THAT MI-1 WILL ADDRESS LABOR MARKET NEED AS COMPARED TO mi-2,3 THAT MEANS PRE-2008 BACKLOG WHICH THEY ARE PLANING TO CLEAR WILL ALSO NOT ADDRESS CANADIAN LABOR NEEDS THEN WHY THERE IS DISCRIMINATION WITH MI-1 ON THE NAME OF LABOR MARKET NEEDS???.....................................I REQUEST ALL OF YOU TO PRESENT OUR VERY GENUINE CASE IN FRONT OF COMMITTEE MEMBERS BY SEND WELL DRAFTED EMAILS TO THEM
