i submitted apllication   ..........................janu 20
i recived   file no....................................marcfeb 25
i recive medi req,passport requst,travel,rpf requst..................................march15
i submitted medical,travel docu,passport , rprf............................may2
passport return without visa........................june 19

still iam waiting for passport requst,again
i sent a mail to chc delhi asking why passport sent back without visa..they sent a clarification ..they dont need passport now ,,they ask passport requst again

friends its a normal process//?????????/
pls seniors help me ..........
i need ur valuble advice ...........iam applaid as a welder with aeo

Dear All,

I thought tha im the only person who is waiting for visa under AEO but the story is somewhat different.
My story is 


Application sent         : 27th Jan'09
Medicals Requested    : 25 Feb'09
Medicals Sent           : 19th March'09
All the supporting docs i.e. Passport , travel history, funds proof and all the required information : 19th march'09
Passport was send back to me in june'09 with letter saying " not required yet"
Thats it. I am waiting for some communication from CHC since then.

Please share your valuable experience so that we can get a ray of hope

Dear gsidhu & shijojosheph,

Getting passports back without stamping is absolutely normal. Do not worry, this is happening to many these days.

Once they realise that they need more time for background checks, they send the passports back.

Hi ShijoJoseph, Jashan & gsidhu,

Please relax. It takes around 6 months after medicals (only an idea) in AEO cases.

I say that purely by seeing few cases, but there is no confirmed time-line for the same. The whole process is relatively new, so no one can predict. We just have to wait for CHC to respond with some update.

Background & security check goes on. Some say they do it before & some say they do it after medicals. I dont know for sure.

Pls relax. CHC doesn't reply if they think they are within time-lines. You'll get some communication soon.

4-5 months after medical!!!!! ....its taking real long ..... I wounder if there is  some one who got pr with AEO and that too for Sotware related job?
