Sorry! don't know the answer to your question, but I have a question for you. When did they receive the application and when did they cash it? I am trying to get some idea on when to expect mine to be cashed. They received mine on April 8th.

Thanks for your reply. That was pretty quick they cashed your check. Mine is taking forever. Either they are going to return my package (hope they do not) or my bank does not know what they are talking about.

I searched the CIC Buffalo website for address change and I found this:

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/change_address-changement_adresse.aspx?lang=eng&menu_id=361&menu=L

They have asked you to e-mail and they want the file number along with other information. I  know you do not have the file number yet, but it does not hurt to e-mail them anyway. I think you can send them an e-mail with the rest of the information and also the number you see on the back of the check and tell them that you have not received the AOR yet.

Good luck.

The B# is the immigration file number, but I am not sure if he can refer to it since he has not "officially" received the number.

My application also reached Buffalo on April 8th. I had sent MO.
Can you let me know when your check is cashed? I will do the same.
Just checked the status - not cashed yet.

My application has been returned. More is here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/cic-buffalo-returned-application-package-ainp-t17919.0.html

A question, my home country police certificate expired yesterday (it was issued Jan 20, 09). Do you think I need to request a new one before sending my application back OR they will accept the same old one? Thanks.

Sorry to hear that nix1.
I advice you to send your application with expired police certificate but do mention why you are sending an expired police certificate. Meanwhile call someone in your home country and ask them to make new police certificate and send via express delivery. It should not take more than 3 days for your relative to collect  PCC from police headquarter, Naxal. Also make sure you instruct your relative to clearly mention in the parcel that it has documents required for immigration purpose. This will avoid any custom related delay. You should get your PCC in your hand with in 10-12 days. This way you will be in safe side and avoid any delay if they ask you for new PCC.

Do all the Police certificates have to be from within 3 months ? Or just the current country of residence has to be 3 months.
