Friends, today I have received my CIC application back.

CIC wants the copy of I-797 and I-94 to prove that I am in USA more then 1 year

Why should CIC care about these? Then mine will also come back.

So I wanted to keep the ball rolling. I submitted my application to CIC today by FedEx. I did NOT submit police records at this time.
Let me know if you have any doubts. If not give an 100% answer, I shall share what I did.

So good luck to everyone and hope to be in Alberta in 2009 and share our stories!!

And we all should be thankful to Leon and BCguy for their expert comments.

KXXX is a  number sign which means that "explanation needed?" or "irregularity found". It is a CIC's inter-departmental code which refers entire to the Discretion of Visa Officer/Program Officer at Buffalo consulate. It is exactly like sometimes your H1b stamping is rejected under 221(g) or On J1 Visa it is mentioned that 212 (e) applies which mean two year home country rule. This number has nothing to do with AOR, however it corresponds with AOR as this number is file or case specific

I am just watching this forum. I have no idea on my CIC status (I sent application on 5th Dec) as I am in India for last one month. My H1B stamping process is pending and God knows when they will stamp it. Once I am back in the US I will update you all.

Hi everyone, I mailed my package to CIC by Fedex overnight delivery to 3000 HSBC ......
I checked through track # but it says 'DELIEVERD'.
My curiousity is how do I know that package was delivered in Canadian consulate 'Immigration office' as I know that a big building and there r many offices in there.
Just curious did anyone else send through Fedex and display the same message.
NOTE: I already called Fedex and they ask me to wait until next week if they can find out and update me.
In the mean time i m just curious and cant wait to get answer since i  m little panic now
Thanks!

The moment Fedex boy take the packet to front desk/receptionist of that building and they will read That "CONSULATE GENERAL OF CANADA, They will pass this packet to right office in that building. Actually they have a big mail room on side of reception desk where all the mail packets are classified according to address. This building is a office space commercial building and also has 2 offices of Hong-kong and Shanghai Bank Coporporation (HSBC).
Thanks!
