Alberta AINP eligibility with 14months of H1B term split over 2 US trips

Hello All,

I am an Indian citizen with an H1-B visa and working in the US on and off. My first assignment in the US on a H1-B was from July 2005 to February 2006. I am back in the US on H1-B since August 2008 till date. In all I have 8 months + 6 months of work experience in the US, which amounts to a total of 14 months of work experience on H1-B visa in 2 phases [This is only the US experience of my total IT experience].

With more than 12 months of work experience on H1-B spanning across 2 phases/US trips, am I eligible to apply for the Alberta Permanent Residency under AINP?

Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
