Albanian's in Canada

I am a Canadian citizen engaged to an Albanian. Our hopes are to acquire a visa for him to live and work in Canada and not be forced to get married in Albania right away just so we can live in the same country! I'm not very good at gathering information so if someone can point me in the right direction and give some advice on where to start, that would be extremely helpful!
