first of all  congrats everybody for their success and patience.
secondly pray for us to achieve positive result.
Since march 11, 2010 it shows in process then i have no idea when they will issue my medical  .
why you guys don,t mention about Etehad airways because it has short stopover in Abudhabi (1.5 hours) then direct flight from AUH to YYZ (14 hors)
inflight entertainment and service are also satisfactory.Fare will be 1050-1100 USD  cheaper than Emirates 1300 USD and it is UAE's National Airlines
Minus point is it operates early in the morning for DAC-AUH (5.30 am) arrival 9.30 am in AUH local time then AUH-YYZ 10.30 am UAE's local time.

Your case must have been sent to somewhere where they work like BD bureaucratic system. it must be waiting for a result where the queue is long; you will get your turn in the coming months for sure. my friend in USA  had to wait for 4 long years for his turn to come for the USA PR application.

I'd not fly Etihad's A340 or B777 over Emirates's A380. Emirates is an established success in world aviation industry. I have never found a single negative remark about Emirates.

Etihad is good though.

Its a great idea, it seems you all are going for picnic .  Really you ppl won't feel bored during the long journey from DAC ---- YYZ and also can easily pass time in the stopover. Moreover, if any kind of difficulty comes you can sort out.

I am warning you all who are going through the transit of Heathrow.
They can make you naked if they are suspicious on you. One of my Hindu friend was taken to the restroom and he was compelled to take all his dresses off except the underwear. taking off Shoes are a regular issue in Heathrow. When all these things happen, you'd feel like a Rat.

besides Flights from London are the main targets of terrorists. Remember the last Christmas Day what the Nigerian Boy did? India is one of the biggest allies of US for War against Terror. I wouldnt risk me and my kids' lives on a Cheap airlines with High potential of Terrorist threats.    

I personally feel Indians are hostile to BD people, has anyone ever heard or saw Indian BSF killing innocent BD people along the borders? I'd not pay them, riding on their planes would be like honoring them. No way !
