I have applied for AINP and I see another equally good program by BC PNP.
I am a software engineer and am eligible for both.

q1) Does any one know the benefits of applying to BC PNP instead of AINP?

q2) What are the difference between these two programs?

q3) I suppose it will not be a good idea to apply to both?

AINP no job required, but BC PNP does, how would you be qualified for that given you don't have the job offered in BC. But to answer to your question, yes, you can apply both.

Even if you had a job offer from BC, the problem with applying for both is that both of them make you sign a statement saying you intend to settle in their province.

That does not stop you from applying from both. You will have to stay in the province that approves your provincial nomination first.

Thanks for your reply...

Well I read somewhere on BC PNP website that if you apply to other PNP program then it makes your case weaker as it does not show intent to stay in BC, so its not recommended.
