Congrats Josephdadreamer,

I see your case if little different than some of us here. It seems that you applied for Pre assessment which many of us did not. Did you receive File number quickly because you were "invited" so to speak by AINP?

Thanks,
Mohan

Folks,
Just an update applied May 8, I got my Candidate file number

Candidate Name:  XXXXXXXXX
Candidate File Number:  7XXX-XX-XXXX

Thank you for applying to the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). This is to confirm receipt of the AINP application for the abovementioned on August 28, 2009. Please visit http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/immigrate/processingtimes.html for our most current processing times.

Looks like AINP process is dead duck.

Hi All,  My Husband and I submitted our application through a Canadian Lawyer firm on 20th May 09 for AINP family sponsorship (we live in the uk) and as far as I know our lawyer hasn't recieved any confirmation.  We were gutted to see the application time has gone up to about 3 years.

Is anyone in the same boat as ours? have you recieved any confirmation or information on your application?

Thanks

You won't hear anything from AINP until preassessment is complete, which takes at least 8 months for Family Stream.

BTW, this thread is for H1-B SRS Stream, so you may want to ask the question in different thread...

Guys,

Has there been any update on anyone's case who applied in May (except for one of our friend who had the pre-processing done)?

Thanks,
Mohan

No news. I sent my application on May 8, 2009 (NOC: 2173) and I received an e-mail on Sept 1, 2009 with request for missing documents to submit before Oct 1, 2009. Submitted documents on 10th Sept 2009. Nothing heard from AINP yet.

It is sad to know that there has been no update on our cases. I don't know how much long are they gonna take.

Those who applied in end of April have started receiving the file numbers. Our time should also come soon. (How soon?, I do not know, But I believe it would be soon!!!)

Congrats Cj,

Finally somesone from May is getting file#. Now the question is how many of us will remain employed when the Nomination time comes? With such a bleak US economy I doubt even 50% of applicants involved in this program will make it to that date.

Goodluck to all.
