I got a job offer in Calgary Alberta, I had applied for AINP - SRS H1B to Alberta and received a letter in May 2010 indicating that the application can be further processed if you have a job letter from alberta employer. Now I have a  job letter from a alberta employe and they have asked me to join in 2 weeks. I am currently in US on H1B.

Kindly advise how do I obtain a visa for working in Alberta and how long will it take. Can my AINP application be helpful for obtaining a work permit in 2 weeks?

Hi USCtrojan,
                     I am in same situation as you were. I have a employment letter and my application, under AINP US H1B, was in process then received file # but got another letter saying my file is being closed should I have a employer then my file can be reopen to process further.

I have send them offer letter and other documents to AINP and have to join my employer soon. Do you know how long did it take you to obtain support letter/nomination letter from AINP and then work permit? please advice on this?
