AINP Processing from India?

I have applied for AINP program under Strategic Recruitment Stream for US Visa Holder (H1-Visa) about 5 months ago. And I have received the receipt of the application. My question is if I go to India for a year from now how will it impact my AINP processing?

1. My current H1 expires on Sept 30-2009 and I have applied for renewal for 3 years.
2. If I go to India for about an year from now, will my AINP processing be continued? If yes then how will it be continued i.e. where will interviews etc be conducted?

Please advise.

You need to be in valid H1 status at the time AINP gets approved. I am not sure, how you are planning to maintain that.
