I am a new user on the site and looking to apply for Canada Immigration under Alberta program. My application under Federal Skilled Worker has recently been rejected by the CIC because I did not work for any company with "Manager" designation. I had applied under FSW in Aug 2008 and in April 2009, I received this decision. I am not sure if CIC had the 38 professions rule in Aug 2008. Even though it is immaterial now.

After lot of reading on Internet, I found that I may be eligible under Alberta program. I went and read their website and found that since I am on H1B visa in United States, I may be eligble to apply (http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/immigrate/srsvisaholder.html).

In order to get some guidance on the process, I became a member of this website to see if we have any threads that explains the process, in detail, from an applicants prespective. The alberta website seems to be pretty straightforward and I do not want to hire any Immigration consultant due to obvious reasons. Essentially, I need assistance in the following:

1. If I am applying under US Visa Holder Category, Do I need to fill in AINP 009A only ?

2. It says that the photocopies of the CIC Forms needs to be submitted. Does that mean that I fill all the following forms:
A. AINP 009A
B. IMM0008(Sch1)
C. IMM5406
D. IMM0008(sch4)
E. IM0008(gen)

and submit a photocopy of the forms B to E and AINP 009A in original to AINP.

3. When and Where do I submit the original forms (B to E)?

Regards

1. Yes, you need to fill in the AINP009A application form.

2. You need to fill all the forms and mail the original of 'A' and photocopies of 'B' thro 'E'.

3. Once you get the nomination from AINP (maybe after 8 months), you send the original to CIC. Details will be given in the nomination letter.

All the best.

Just to confirm:

I fill the Forms B through E, print them, take photocopies but do not mail them. I mail these originals only when I receive the nomination letter. Is this correct?

VSRAO, Thanks for pointing out the mistake. I meant that but glad that you cleared it.
