I would say that it is more important the job description that the title. My job title is Senior Software Engineer and my job description shares some of the duties with NOC 2171 (Information System Analyst). I applied to Alberta under NOC 2171 for the AINP H1B program .... and received my nomination back in November.
BTW you need to mention only the job experience related to the NOC you are applying for...

I am planning to apply for AINP. I am in little bit of doubt. I have Masters in computer engineering (2147) and most of my duties are information Systems analyst (such as advising on data storage strategy, policy, management and security). In the past, I have also worked on H1 while performing duties such as hardware design and other stuff. Both of these jobs have more than 1 year in tenure.
My question is can I mention or state both of these experiences in my application. Another difficulty for me is that my job title states "Software Engineer"
What would be good choice here? Anyone had this kind of experience.
