Well, I read few threads on this forum and found that there have been talks about IT Professionals (H1B visa holders) may not be eligible to apply for Immigration under AINP.

Is this true ?

Thanks,
Mohan

Anybody who doesn't qualify with requirements, will not be eligibile.
You must be under under pressure NOC's
You must be on H1B for last 1 year
You must be working/Getting paid presently
Those folks who are on H1B but thier skillset is not a match with NOC or after assessment it was found that this was a mis-match, will not be nominated.

I meet the criterion. Essentially, what I meant to ask is if AINP is planning to hold/cancel the AINP Program for SRS-H1B program or not?

If you job description is present in the Alberta's NOC list, then you are eligible provided you satisfy the other condition of being on H1, mentioned by ABGov.
