It is expensive! I am wondering if there is any value in getting a head start towards P.E. certification?

How expensive is it. I couldn't locate registration and membership fee details? I am thinking about it?

cost aside, you've got to work under a PE for about a year!
gimme some exams and i'll be done with it in no time... but this 'apprenticeship' after these many years of exp doesn't make much sense to me.
