Dear Friends, My sis is in Alberta, Canada. I would like to know that I am applying under AINP family stream.I underwent treatment for TB in 1997 and got completely cured.Want to know that will my application be accepted as now I am completely cured and will offer whatever papers will be required. Are there cases who had Tuberculosis in the past have applied and successfully got PR for Canada. Please let me know.If somebody is an expert and can answer then I will be grateful. God Bless.

My dear AlbertaGovernor,
Just respond to her concern if you have any idea. Why do you want to know where is she from?

Hiba, Applying in capacity of your sister will much more stronger case than applying thru friends. I am not sure about the processing times as to which will be quicker, but I have head that there is more sucess in immigration when there is blood relation than in friends sponsership.

AINP Family Stream Processing times 31 months(may increase) plus CIC time Manitoba Provincial Nominee Programme round about 12 months plus CIC time You better go for MPNP

S.K is right. If family stream takes thrice the time of MPNP, you should go for MPNP.

Thanks for the answers friends. SK can you please tell me if family stream immigration cases are more successful or the ones done through friend support. And as for the processing time,it is 36 months for AINP family stream and 12 months for MAPNP friend support. Thanks for your support friends. Best Regards

Hiba,
Family stream is more reliable in terms of rate of sucess than friends stream.
