Just want to break the ice guys...got receipt number today.

My timeline:
Documents sent for pre-assessment:15 Dec 2008
Confirmation :16 Dec 2008
Received PNP Invitation:17 Jan 2009
Application Sent:20 Jan 2009
App received(delivered by Fedex):22 Jan 2009
File Number received: 19 Mar 2009

I very much appreciate everone's effort in sharing their thoughts and ideas...will keep you posted for any new development.

MAY BE THEY MEANT PR AND U UNDERSTOOD AS NOMINATION.JUST A SURMISE !!

I just got email with my file number under the old process with pre-assesment
here is my time line:
Pre-assesment sent: dec 04 2008
ITA received: 20 Jan 2009
Application received: 29 Jan 2009
File number received: 19 March 2009.

Just be patient! and keep checking ur junk email folder (it was delivered there, not to the hotmail inbox)
