i applied in last week of Feb and I got an email on May 1 about a missing document , which I had mailed to them two weeks ago.
Have not heard anything since than.

Today I got an email reply for the inquiry I made that I have to relocate to india for a legible reason and from then wanted to process CIC.

They wanted a explanation letter stating the reason for relocating to india, I have replied it and expecting the reply from them.

Applied AINP New processes: Jan 26th 2009
Information entered into their system: March 09 2009
Got file number: April 21st 2009
Inquiry Query reply by mail: June 15th 2009.

New process people from April have started receiving their file #s. Please check the other posts. Not many from March though (including me)

I applied in last week of Feb in the new process, no updates. Little bit worried now bcos april folks have started receiving file # according to other posts.

I have applied on March 13 . No email , No file Yet.

Please post with a concrete link where someone says that they got File no in new process and they sent application in last week of Feb or March or April.
Stop creating panic unnecessarily.

It really does not matter if you used a lawyer from a common sense point.

They got file numbers. They are under new process and April applicants.

  I had applied for AINP nomination, and recieved my file number. My details:
   
    Application recieved on April 14th.
    Code: Manager (0213 i think - H1B Stream)

This process seems to be really fast as compared to the US green card process....

xxxx-xx-xx84 is not the most helpful format.

Could you please say it in the following format xxxx-xx-??xx

The ?? part is the most helpful to others, who want to know whether the current series of file numbers is in the 1000's or the 2000's or the 3000's.

May be coz, "mr53" has applied under Management Occupation(NOC 0213).
