Can we get into Canada while CIC is processing the PR? say after, you get the AiNP Nomination certificate, can you apply for a temporary work permit visa without a job offer?

Yes You Can. You need a Job in your profession from Alberta Employer. Send an email to AINP AFTER you get an job offer from Alberta, they will issue a letter.

Yes You Can. You need a Job in your profession from Alberta Employer. Send an email to AINP AFTER you get an job offer from Alberta, they will issue a letter. My question is, can we move to Alberta without job offer? In one of the presentation I heard from AiNP, they said, after we get nominated, we can get a letter from AiNP and apply for visa and immigrate to Alberta and start looking for job. But it was not mentioned clearly about having a job offer already. if we have a job offer already why should we have to go through AiNP.

If you are applying under the H1B program, you don't need a job offer.
If you were not able to apply under the H1B program, you would need a job offer. The reason people with job offers may go through AINP is because they don't have 67 points to apply through FSW and they prefer to get their immigration right away than to come in on a temporary work permit. It's also harder to get temporary work permits now. Some people who've been denied an LMO for a job have been able to get an AEO for the same job and immigrate.

Thanks to Albertagovernor and Leon for the quick responses. Leon, please refer my previous post....Yeah, I know that, we dont need a job offer if I apply under H1B program. I wanted to know whether I can apply for work permit after getting the nomination from AiNP (without a job offer), but before getting the PR from CIC.

There's no special work permit available to PNP certificate holders in any province. If you want to apply for a work permit, you are subjected to the same process as any other foreigner who wants to apply for a work permit. You'd have to get a job offer, employer applies for an LMO, then you use the LMO to apply for a work permit.
In recent times, since the job market is not so hot right now, Service Canada has really cut down on their LMO issuing.

Hi,
I am about to mail out my application forms. When I collect supporting documents for my employment, I found out that the job title on the letter of employment is different from the H1B application form. One is R&D Engineer and the other one is Software Engineer. I am wondering if it will cause any trouble if I send copies of both of them.
Thanks
Nate

I have not got the file# and I know 3 more people who sent in Jan they have not got it. I sent my App in Jan End.
I think the wait time is 2 months for preassessment and then another 2 months for file no. <Quote> Processing Times Strategic Recruitment Stream Processing time Notification (pre-assessment) Up to two months Candidate assessment Up to three months Total AINP processing time Up to five months
We do not confirm delivery of applications. We recommend applications be sent through methods where the delivery status can be checked, i.e. courier or registered mail. Please do not call or email us to check on the status of your application, as this will increase processing times of applications. Furthermore, we do not provide status updates during normal processing times.
You will only receive a confirmation email and file reference number after your application has been pre-assessed and entered into our system for processing. (Pre-assessments can take up to 2 months provided the application submitted is complete; it may take up to 2 months to receive a file reference number). </Quote>
Above is from the Alberta Site. Does the last line mean 2+2 months or just 2 months for file#. Looks like it means 2 + (up to 2 more months for file#). I think they have just too many applications and they are gonna revise their occupation code list on Apr 15th also. Pretty sure Software Engineer or anything related to it is going away.
