Did anyone receive email notification/confirmation from AINP for the application package sent after 01-01-2009 under the new process?
I have posted my application on 05-Feb-2009 and awaiting for their reply.

We sent our packet on 15 Jan 2009. Yet to rcv file number or any sort of communication.

Hi Guys,
I have a question since you already submitted your documents. In the instruction, it says
"A certified copy of your Degree, Diploma, Certificate or other documents regarding your education and training."
Did you submit certified copy of all your Certificates or only photocopy would be enough?

It says Certified copy -- so I did send certified / attested / notraized copy. |

How many months do you think this new 2 step process would take?
My guess is:
2 months to say status on application i.e. YES or NO.
2 months to get NOMINATION
6-8 months for CIC approval & PR visa stamping.

45 days - for getting file no.
1 month - nomination certificate
10-12 month - CIC process
