I am 55 years old allied medical professional and my wife is 48 years old homemaker. The score on myseslf being the principle applicant is 62 and on my wife being the principle applicant is 69.

Should we apply ?Does not the immigration office consider age a bar ?

If your wife has 69points by all means please apply. The process isn't against age however the older above 49years you get the lower the points allocated. Apply ASAP before the points reduce further. Good luck.

I completely agree with barsindoo...points for AGE is definitely going to change next year and will NOT favor senior applicants. Apply ASAP.
