Hey 04102008 , Have faith like the other member already told you. You marriage is genuine, and you said that your husband has managed to answer all the question, witch means he had a good interview. The thing that the officer didn't look at new evidence , might, means that he was looking for an answer to his question witch he got from your husband. concerning his passport, I guess (I keep using, might, I guess...to refer that what I am saying is based on stories and stuff that I have read over this and other forum, and not my personal opinion) it isn't a general rule that if you are going to be approved, they will keep his passport, maybe they will ask for it later. Do you know if his background check is done? if not , maybe they will do it, and they don't want to keep his passport with them until the Background check is finish, your husband is Lebanese, right, if so, his background check might take time, cause as you know, the system in Lebanon is still old fashion, and in some police station...they still bring huge , I mean huge BOX, where they keep the Lebanese record, no computer or what so ever, I saw in my own eyes when I was filing for my new civil status...:) Best things you do, is order your CAIP, it might take between 4 or 6 week to come, so if, by then you don't have an answer from the embassy, you will know what happened in the interview and what is the next step.
