Once your application for residence is approved, how much time are you given to come to Canada?

Hi Gozzer,
The CIC will give you enough time to come to Canada. The visa will be stamped to your passport and it includes the date of validity of landing period. Sometimes they're giving six to eight months starting from the date your visa has been stamped. You should land in Canada within that date.
Congratulations!

12 months from the date of the medical or the expiry of the passport, whichever comes first.
