After Approval is there an expiry?
«
on:
March 18, 2011, 07:27:48 am »
I was wondering if after my husbands application is approved and he can move to Canada, if there is a certain period of time that he has to enter the country before the approval is revoked or expires?
We are in a foreign country now and if the application is approved before we are scheduled to go back home I want to know if that will be a problem. If he is aproved but does not enter Canada until a couple months after is that a problem?
Thanks for the help.

usually 12 months after the date of the medical, or the expiry of the passport - whatever is the earliest.

See above

I was told that we had a 3 month window if the full 12 months hasn't elapsed as baloo said.
EG - you get your visa 4 months after applying, you have 8 months remaining on ur medical and your PP doesn't expire for another year, you still need to land within the 3 month period.
