Hi

I have completed my application recently. I was wondering to know what are the other things which should be done after the approval. I am in USA right now and   I am orginally from India.  Is it a good Idea to get the FBI and other police related issues before my results came out. If those things are not very costly and I think I can go for it, if it is legally ok. If posssible, Please let me know how to do get those things done. Are there any other things where I can be proactive.

you get everything you need for your application done now. Of course, there is a small chance that your reply from Sydney could be delayed or lost in the postal services but that is the risk you take. PC from US and from your state is probably not that expensive.

I need to get police certificate from India . do you know any link which explains how can I get it for India, becoz I am in USA right now

i dont know how people get the certificate while living in the US, but i am sure i read somewhere the embassy might provide it. You might want to check their website out.
