After 4 years processing finally approved!

My husband and I were finally approved to sponsor my parents and brother from the UK to Canada    We received the letter last week after 4 years in processing that we were approved and we are now to send the package (permanent residence application for Canada) to the UK for processing.  The confusing thing... the Canadian website says 24 months for processing in the UK, but the UK embassy website says 6 months... does anyone have any clarification or information on how long this process should take now?  They will still have to go through medicals/police checks in the UK.

Any information you can provide is truly appreciated.. we are excited as this has been a long time processing.. my family just wants to be with us

It's 24 months.

The 6 month time frame is for spousal sponsorships.
