Dear QORAX and other Seniors

My AEO is being expired in next month. I applied under FSW2 in month of Feb 2010 and was requested for Full documents in March 2010. I am pre june 2010 applicant.

Submitted Full docs in April 2010 and got second AOR in a week. (15 months before from now)

Nothing since then, I emailed them quiet a few times. The last reply I got by email in first week of June 2011.

The email says "A review of background investigation is pending by the Visa Officer. Please be assure that as soon as this review is finished the next step will be advised to you. We do not require any correspondence from you at this time."

My AEO clearly says "No points will be awarded if the application reached to CIC after 01 Sep. 2011."

I am afraid what will happen if my AEO expires and I don't get VISA till then.

I emailed to CHC quiet a few times about this.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you Mr. Jack Sulley from Pandora? Cheesy Cheesy

Hope you did not mind with that.

Well to your query, you will be fine. You have to apply to CIO, Sydney before your AEO expires. In your case you applied almost one and half year before it gets expires.

I am not a champion on this forum so, let other seniors reply on this.

CAPTAIN (Sir QORAX), please help Mr. Sulley. He's travelled all the way from Pandora to Earth for this query. Grin

Hope this make a little smile on your face.

Thank you migrating2ca,

I know this but, I am not very much sure and so is my agent. He assured me that they won't penalize applicant for their delay.

By the way, I am not Jack from Pandora because He is "Jack Sully" and I am "Sulley". I like your comment though.

HOPE for some comments from other seniors....

Cheers

As your b/ground checks return positive... they'd, most likely, want u to get a reValidated AEO.

Thank you Sir,

Yes it has been 2 months since I received the email about Background Check. My employer in Canada has not received any phone or query.

She did once last summer but nothing now.

Sir, my question still stands, will I be safe even the AEO expires?

P.S: I am NA'Vi

after expire your AEO you are not safe during background check or PR process even at landing time you need valid AEO (not expiered).
please re-validate (as Qorax said) and get copy of revalidated AEO from your employer. send it to your visa office.

I dont understand this.

Why would they penalize applicant for their fault / delay?

They can simple ask the employer.

I know this but, on AEO it is clearly mentioned that "Applicant need to apply before it gets expire".

I applied 15 months before and now they put me on hold because of their damn reasons.

They will ask me to reValidate it so by the time my PCC and IELTS would have expired.

The 'fault' is not theirs, but 'yours'... u haven't presented your file well, which took them enormous time to do your b/ground checks. U could also have certain shortcomings which could make your security checks stretched. They r following the book.
