i applied 10 jan 2011to nova scotia but i didi not received file number yet how long i have to wait please advise me.

Oh that is cool...
I dont understand one thing if they started processing on your case in feb then why they took so long to request for med test and passport
May be your case was undergoing a background check.
I feel you'll get your passport back in less than a month.

Yes, they requested further documentation from my potential employer to support the AEO, which is why the time gap from in-process to medicals.
