Advise

Hi,

I am enquiring about an issue that my parents are experiencing in Canada.

They have been there 3 years now and will have to return home in a month or so. They were hoping to become permanent residents but they don't meet the criteria.

My dad was working for a company over there for 2.5 years and when the recession hit he was laid off. Due to not having an open visa he has found it really hard getting a job else were. So my mum got a job and has been working ever since.

They have bought a house over there and took their dog too, which they can't bring back to England when they return due to a heart condition.

I was hoping they could sort something out over there but have had no luck.

Could you please advise me on what options they may have?
