I recently recieved my Congratulations letter for my PR and was told to send my passport for my entry visa but I have a issue know.

I am currently out of the country and not planning on returning till Janurary my duaghter is getting in married in Decemember overseas. My PR application was processed in Buffalo I am able to send them my passport for the entry visa hoever my question is do I include a letter asking for entry date to be sometime in Janurary or end of December if possible should I explain the reason?

I did my medical in April 2007. Do you think this will work?

Can-AfricanQ is correct, you have until your medicals expire to land in Canada.

One option is for to you to fly to the U.S. for just a couple days to process the passports.  If you take them to the Buffalo office in person, they can usually complete them the same day.  This is an expensive option, but remember that you can't usually be in a foreign country without your passport even for a short period.  It usually violates local law.
