Hello

My initial approval from the CIO came in July and i was given 120 days to collect and submit all necessary documents to Visa Office.
My 120 days elapse on 22nd November.

Due to recent changes in the system regarding Language Testing, everyone is now required to take IELTS. Therefore i will now sit IELTS and recieve the test result by 16th -18th November - which does not leave me with enough time to courier all documents for them to arrive by 22nd November as my allocated visa office is in a another country (Islamabad, PK Visa Office function being served by Visa Office in London, UK)

Can anyone suggest or give advice on what to do ? Should one:
a) Submit documents in time (within 120 days) and attach a letter explaining that IELTS results are due soon and that i will post them to the visa office as soon as i recieve them?
OR
b) Wait for the IELTS result and submit all complete documents and be late by a few days (exceeding the 120 day deadline by a few days) ?

I would really appreciate your responses.

Hello,

No matter what you do, do not miss the 120 days deadline. Its a tricky situation. I had to go  through the same. I submitted all my documents except the IELTS score because of the same reason as yours. I did send a cover letter explaining them the situation. I sent the IELTS score as soon I received it. But after a month I received a letter saying that, you were suppose to send the whole documents within 120 days grace period. But it also says "Although you submitted the document, please wait for your unique number to be available and then you can submit additional documents." Its a catch-22 situation but DO NOT MISS 120 DAYS deadline.
Best of Luck.

 @ spud..

i think KRAE is right...you should do the same...

well, send rest of the documents by 15th November itself...and after that immediately send your IELTS score...

VO will take few days..to actually review your file and take into the next level...

all the best dear...johny

i have the similar kind of timelines.. got our AOR from NS on 28th july and 120th day would be 24th nov... but done with IELTS on 11th sep.. mate they give us 120 days to get everything in order.....dont run the risk of being late....if the results are bound on 18th than send the file and explain not sending IELTS in the cover letter. courier the IELTS result with a cover letter (mention your file number) and explain .......
