Hi, just need a bit of advice.

Myself and my best mate are planning a trip to canada, to visit toronto, then do a bit of mt biking and to finish the 2 weeks off a camping and canoe trip.

Last year i was refused entry into the USA, the reason beeing i was instructed by what would of been my employer to travel over for the 3 month on the ESTA program and just say i was visiting friends, as it would be quicker and easyer. obviously this was stupid but i went along with it anyway thinkng he knows best as he is a american, not to suprizingly when i landed i was sent to secondary and questiond were i came clean and was refused entry and as my plane had gone i was detained for the night.

I have not spoken to the guy since and dont want to as he got me a night spent in a cell ( not very nice).

I am now worried that this may affect my holiday plans to canada now can any body give me some advise please.

I have booked both flights too and from canada for my self and my mate, booked the first weeks hotel, just need to book the other hotel and the canoe trip.

Can anyone help, iv tryed contacting the embassy but no reply. ant ideas?

are you from a visa excempt country?
one thing i'd advise you not to do is say you're visiting friends.. you gotta get as much information when you get to Canada as you possibly can!

Tell them exactly what you're doing.  If you're visiting your friends tell them you're visiting your friends.  Have all the information/details on hand if it's requested and you should have 0 problems.
