Dear experts,
I have to undergo for medical fitness test inside UK in few weeks. I had a Immune system problem 2 months ago which infected my intestine part a bit. It is gettting better now. i am still taking medications for that which is steroid tablets on small dosages. my medical conditions are not serious now. but it is a very rare symptoms and still it is not available in medical books , but it is not a life threatening disease.

If they do the blood test , can they find out steroid traces in the blood test?
Do i need to inform about this to medical officer? Are they going to ask about my past history about medicals?

If i inform will i pass the medical exams?

Please advice about this.

Regards

hi sirini
you dont need to worry
if you are not HIV+ and TB positive
you can pass medicals
they dont test blood chemistry at all
only HIV and VDRL
