Hi
My brother is a PR of Canada. Can he sponsor me n my family ,plz remember tht i m married n above 22 yrs of age.I ve read at CIC website tht if u ve no other family members as citizen or PR u can sponsor any of ur relative of any age.Secondly if he has a business there can he offer me or my husband a job . Wht r the requirements of an authentic job offer to get residentship. And if not Arranged job offer can he arrange a work permit for us. I just want to know tht wht r the requirements for a canadian employer to offer anyone job or work permit from overseas.waiting 4 ur reply.

If you apply for immigration you will earn points as your brother is already PR of canada

I believe he can help you with a job, but still has to get the LMO from HRSDC before you can apply for a work permit. You can apply as a skilled worker and receive points for having a brother that's a Canadian citizen/PR. I don't know much about family sponsorships.

Your brother can't sponsor you, but if you apply as skilled worker, he will give you more points.
If he wants to hire you he needs to get an LMO.
