FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCE :)

THE BEST WAY TO MAKE THE PROCESSING REALLY FAST!:)

- PAY ALL THE FEE'S IN FULL
- MAKE SURE THAT YOU SEND THEM LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF PICTURES OF YOU TOGETHER...
AND TAKE NOTE: NOT JUST TOGETHER KISSING IF YOU HAVE TO!:) THAT'S WHAT MY HUSBAND AND I DID! I SENT THEM OVER 70 PICTURES OF OUR WEDDING AND EVERYTHING!

- MAKE SURE THE APPLICATION AND PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP ARE ORGANIZE! SO THEY WONT HAVE A HARD TIME!:)
- BOMBARD THEM WITH YOUR LETTERS, CARDS, EMAILS AND YM MESSAGES! PRINT IT! AND SEND IT TO THEM! MAKE SURE TO SHOW THE DATES!
- IF YOU DO HAVE FACEBOOK/FRIENDSTER SHOWING YOUR STATUS AND YOUR PICTURES THAT ARE POSTED ON YOUR PROFILE PRINT IT SHOW IT TO THEM...

ALSO YOU WILL BE NEEDING TO SEND THEM LETTERS :)

- FROM YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY STATING THAT THEY HAVE WITNESS YOUR RELATIONSHIP..
MAKE THEM SIGN IT AND MAKE SURE TO HAVE IT NOTARIZE! TO PROVE THAT IT IS TRUE!

- SEND THEM COPIES OF BANK RECIEPTS OR DOOR TO DOOR RECIEPTS SHOWING THAT YOUR HUSBAND OR WIFE IS SENDING YOU MONEY..

- SEND THEM HISTORY OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP MAKE SURE IT IS CONCISE AND PRECISE.

- SEND THEM A LETTER STATING WHAT YOU FEEL OF NOT BEING WITH YOUR HUSBAND/WIFE
  * THIS IS FOR EACH ONE OF YOU.

- PHONE BILLS SHOWING THAT YOU HAVE BEEN COMMUNICATING, OR PHONE CARDS THAT YOU HAVE BEEN USING TO CALL ABROAD.

- SHOW THEM CARDS FROM YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS FROM YOUR WEDDING..

- AND MOST OF ALL SEND ALL THE DOCUMENTS ON TIME! AND SEND THEM ALL POLICE CLEARANCES THAT YOU CAN GET! EVEN IF THEY DON'T NEED IT!

IT'S OK TO SEND THEM "MORE" BUT NEVER "LESS" BECAUSE IF YOU SHOW THEM LIMITED PROOF THIS WILL SLOW DOWN THE PROCESS..

I HOPE THIS SOMEHOW HELPS!:) GOD BLESS!

And some of us, such as myself, have done ALL of the above, but we unfortunately have to wait for a very long time . . . over a year now.

I done ALL of the above, and even the man that interviewed my husband complimented us on having a very organized and complete package (he was amazed!), but sometimes that does not help . . . sometimes it is just a person's luck.

Thanks for the list frednixflores. I would agree with what you put.

Sadgirl,  doing everything on the list obviously helps but it's not foolproof. With all due respect, your husband has a much more complicated background than most which is likely delaying the finalization of his application.

i'm sorry about that sad gurl.... :( i'm sure you did your best... and i'm sure the embassy will know that... i know waiting is really hard... it makes you go crazy and paranoid :( but don't lose hope... as long as your relationship is genuine and you have provided all necessary documents you don't have to worry.... your time will come... :) it'll come.. :) i'll pray for you :)

frednixflores  , that is an excellent list, hope other will be able to do so and congrats on the visa. SadGirl, I swear to God I am realy sorry for you, I can feel your pain because I was there couple of month back, and I do agree with ariell concerning the background check, sometime it take long time, specialy if the person was in several country, not each country has an organized police record and that take time, did you order your CAIPS, it won't delay the processing.

Thank you for this list! You and everyone here give me hope. Its so hard to talk to friends and family about immigration sometimes because they dont understand the process and cannot answer my questions. You guys have been and will be my saving grace through all this mess. Best wishes to all of you!

Good advice, thanks for the list...but in our case we have no correspondence to offer them for review as my sponsor lives with me (we met in the same city and dated regularly for about two years, normal phone calls, no emails because what would be the point)...hopefully the fact that we live together like any normal married couple will be reasonable proof for them that there is no monkey business here, no sir..
