Hi seniors and any one with experience on the subject
The person was still a minor at the time of the initial application and they became adult during the processing period. What happens if they no longer want to go through with the process before even medical instructions are issued. The questions are :
1)Can an adult dependent withdraw from the application before medicals?
 2) How does this affect the principal applicant and the whole application?
3)Is it possible to amend the family composition during processing period? (e.g .withdrawal)

They can withdraw, and has no effect on the application.  Yes, you have to amend the application, dropping the adult.

1.  A simple letter from the dependent asking to withdraw their application and why.
2.  New forms.
