Hi there, I am interested to apply for graduate admission in Canadian universities as an international student. So, I need information about approximately how much is the yearly expense for international students in places like Winnipeg, Windsor, Calgary, Halifax, Regina, Ottawa or Montreal? Can the expense exceed $30k? What are the chances of getting funding or other off campus jobs? How much score is required in TOEFL for a MASc. program? How many of them accept GRE score? Please guide me what to do.
Thanks in advance.

To work off campus, you need a work permit.

Students attending the following schools can qualify for a work permit after they have completed six months of studies in Canada:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/institutions/participants.asp

During the first six months, you can only work on campus (i.e. job at the university or college). On campus jobs are typically quite difficult to get since there aren't that many of them and these roles are filled quickly.

Hi Scylla, Thanks for the information. Do you know about the universities I mentioned? I mean is there any accreditation system for engineering universities in Canada and do the visa officers concern about the "name" of the university?

What actually are the difference between universities in Quebec and in rest of the Canada? Is it possible to study engineering in English medium in Quebec?

Sorry - I'm not an engineer and don't have enough information to answer your questions. Hopefully someone else will be able to help.
