Address Given at the POE

I have a question regarding the landing.

What happens if I dont give a home address at the POE, I am going to stay in a Motel and then look for an apartment.
Can I give the address of a friend who is living in Ontario(I am in Alberta) for reveiving the PR card.?

JPMC,

Your if you were nominated by Alberta you need to give address in Alberta. If you give your friends address in Ontario they might doubt your intent of immigration to Alberta.

What does people do if they don't have any address in Alberta before they land. Where will the PR card be sent?

I have to look for an apartment after landing until then I wont have an address to give.

As far as I could read the related posts, the Address needs to be a Canadian address (not necessarily be in Alberta)

As far as I understood, they (POE) give you waiver on the address if you haven't got one. You can submit the actual address when it becomes available.
