Address change
«

Hi
I have applied to Canadian permanent residency (skilled worker class) from USA to Sydney office in Canada.
I got my application back one month later asking for certain corrections.
I did those corrections and resent the application.
I waited for one month and this time I didnot hear from them.
Exactly after one month I moved my apartment and my address was changed.
I sent a mail indicating my change of address.
One more month passed after I moved to this new address (a total of two months after I resent the application with corrections).
Recently, I contacted my bank regarding the DD and they informed me that the draft was cleared on August 2nd, 2009.
I even intimated the USPS for my address update.
I was little worried about my application status.
I made all my documents ready.
Meand my wife PCC's already passed 3 months
MY IELTS general passed one yr validity.
Do I need to redo IELTS and get new PCC's.
Please let me know your feedback based on your experiences.
Regards,
Mouliya

Hi
Mouliya
,
According to the Change of Address, I would suggest you to write a letter to CIC and inform the same, as it is clarly mentioned at CIC website under the Change of Address section, Please refer the below link,
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-after.asp#change
Also, while informing them the change of address you may ask them about PCC and IELTS General and get prepared for the same well in advance, however seniors in this forum can shed some more light on this.
Hope this was quite helpful

If you move or change your address, telephone number or any other contact information after you submit your application, you must inform, in writing, the visa office where you submitted your application.
