Folks

I am moving from Michigan to North Carolina (On 19th).

I know I have to apply for the address change, But I do not have a new address in Charlotte (will find an apartment once I reach there)

Knowing Buffalo office, Should I wait till i get an apartment in Charlotte and then send the address change detail or should i send a freinds address in the mean time and then in next 15 days send another address?

BTW : I have put a mail forward at USPS to my friends address.
I am thinking I should wait till I get the new apartment and then send the address change.

Go there, get an apartment and then do the address change.

Make sure that until you get your apartment, your mail is safe. This is what was advised earlier in the forum.

Hi,
I don't think there will be any communication so soon from Buffalo Office. Hope your priority  will be to try for  an apartment in Charlotte which may  not take too long. However you have an e - mail address. Good luck.
