Hello!

After we underwent and submitted our medical exam results, within 5-ish weeks, we received another letter asking for "additional medical tests" and a sealed envelope saying we need to go to the DMP, he will open the envelope, get the additional tests done and have the results sent to them within 120 days.

Now the problem is: we have since moved from the time we did the first medical exam (we were in southern US, now we're on the east coast!) and it seems impractical to go to the same DMP that we went to earlier for this testing when there is another DMP within a 15 minute drive from where we now live.

Does anyone know if it will be OK to get the additional medical tests conducted with another DMP, or do we have to go to the same one we went to the first time? Or does anyone know where (in the visa office or CIC) we can ask such questions? Please help us out!!

Greta.

Just send a case specific email to the processing visa office and ask.

In my case, in the medical furtherance letter it was clearly mentioned that I could either go to the same DMP or anyone listed. So I suggest you go and see the one nearest to you.

Thanks Jalap! So if you don't mind, could you tell me more about your letter? Ours says that we should go to the DMP, give the envelope to him and get the additional tests. We're also worried about why the additional testing and if its a negative indicator on the case (AFAIK, we've never had any problems at our annual check-ups, so just worried what its all about and would like to get it over with ASAP!)

Never mind, I just got an email from Buffalo saying it can be done with any DMP! Thanks all for your help!
