Dear Members / Seniors,

Inadvertently, the additional family inforomation form which was supposed to be filled by my spouse; the date of birth against my spouse was left mine (I forgot to change her date of birth from mine to her) and in the field of my date of birth, it was left her ( I forgot to change date of birth from her to mine). It happened because of using the same form and I kept the same mistakenly.

Now the forms have been submitted and I am worried that if there would be any issue.

Please let me know if any one can advice for the correction or have any experience / information for similar cases, what Visa officer does with such cases.

Thanks and looking forward for prompt replies.

Just send a case specific enquiry e-mail to CHC with the correction and mail a letter with correction also just to make sure.   No problem as long as you inform them of mistake immediately.

Not a big deal but keep them informed and again fill just those forms and send it across with a covering letter stating the mistake.

Thank you Roger and Shibuya for your replies. Thanks for the help.

Hi,

I tried to reply your PM but your inbox is full below is the answer to your query.

If you already submitted the full documents then re-fill these forms and send to to CHC ASAP with a cover letter mentioning the typo mistake but if you havent send the form to visa office yet and only send to CIC then at the time of sending the full docs to visa office send with the correct information and mention it in your cover letter.'

Cheers

Dear Seniors / Members,

Further to my post, I would appreciate if anyone can advise me that whether I should send my revised documents now, as I haven't received 2nd AOR or any official receipt of acknowledgement of documents which I sent 15 days ago, or should I wait for the receipt then send the revised documents.

Please advise me on this isuse.

Looking forward for responses.

Regards,
