Add spouse after medical

Hello everyone,

Few things makes me confused . I am sending my federal application recently. Hopefully will get the AOR and medical request at the same time within next 3-4 months. But planning to get married in Dec, 2011. So, I have to add my spouse later when probably my medical will be done.

So, if I add my spouse add later, what is the chance to delay our processing time. Also, I believed, my spouse has to undergo for medical and security check. But my spouse is not right now in Canada. So, wondering how the immigration office will contact with my spouse. Do they send all information to me or to my spouse?
