After a dish of Banku with Tilapia in raw, fresh pepper, I think I am in the right frame of mind to update the forum.
Flew down to Accra late yesterday and was picked up by the Hotel driver (Mensvic Hotel, East Legon, Abedi Pele Area). Reviewed documents again before sleeping to avoid any error. Took a cab following morning at 0700hrs (left early due to traffic), got to the CHC Accra by 0730hrs and joined the others in waiting. We all went into the small hall at 0800hrs, submitted all documents and had to go wait outside. Left for lunch at 1200hrs after confirming it was ok to do so and returned at 1400hrs. We got called in again at about 1600hrs to collect the passports (with stamped visas) and the COPR. Reviewed all the documents for correctness (as learnt from this forum) and left at about 1645hrs.
Heading back home to go get tickets for the landing. Itching to hear welcome to Canada!
Gist continues later..

tito,
Nobody will beat me to it in being the first to congratulate you...e ku orire o. I love hearing good news!
The Banku with Tilapia in raw, fresh pepper must have really 'entered and settled' well because the naration was precise and simple enough for all of us to digest, as if you are giving us your timeline!!
Well we have 'lost' two of our naija bros (soj and tito) to the promised land and praying that those of us left will follow suit very soon. Please keep us posted when you land and life thereafter

Thanks folks,
Great to read all your notes and thanks for rejoicing with me.
Our inputs must be detailed so others can learn one or two from us especially because not much info is available on the web for naija (Accra) people.
My prayers are with all my naija people waiting for the final call. It is well.
soj, how far with the medical for your baby? Is it in Paris already?
