WHAT IS THE MOST WIDELY ACCEPTED ACCREDITATION FOR ACCOUNTANTS ESPECIALLY IN CALGARY?

All these designations (CMA ,  CGA and or CA) are widely accepted nation wide association. (check the internet for their contact details). Foreign designations are, I am afraid, not accepted.

Wow thats sad, what about CIMA, ACCA I think this could be accepted as they have changed them to international startard?

Might be but I still think that a lot of companies only accept the Canadian designations. You might want to contact one the associations to get more info on this.

I can understand that any canadian qualification worths more than ACCA in canada. I want to confirm that if I apply for immigration as ACCA qualified, will they recognise it and I can claim 25 points for my education? I also BSc.(Hons) degree.

As far as i know Chartered Accountants with three years' apprenticeship and three years' graduation are entitle to 22 points.
