could anyone help me

i wanted to know if for the account balance we could use the sum of both partners togther or does it hav to be the balace for the main applicant?

If you are asking for this funds at the time of submitting your applications, then you can show it for both partners.
If its for the time of landing in Canada, your bank statements will not work.
That time you have to have specified amount in Cash/TC/DD form.

Sibtain do read the guide. It will help you with lots of things, including Proof of Funds etc.
