hi all if one had done B.sc(med) and then MBA (marketing) also working as sales manager in publication.

kindly tell me about if the ielts already done academic ielts with 7 bands..plz tell if academic ielts is eligible or have to go wid general ielts or not.??

only general IELTS is accepted for FSW  apps, but if you want to enter as a student to study in Canada than it is ok to proceed with academic

JYOTI pls do general.
mine was sent back. i receive it last april. bec i sent academic
i had to redo
now i have general...
d academic was a waste of money on my part plus waste of time...
i had to wait for july 2011 for another fresh NOC bec i did not know that time they only accept general...
so......
U decide at least now u have a lot of help from members in this forum

Please go for General only. Mine was sent back too as I had submitted Academic, though I had 8 bands. This is because of "Note: IELTS has two options for the reading and writing tests: “General Training” and “Academic.” You must take the “General Training” option." on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language-testing.asp
