someone can tell me if the canadian VO has given a visa even if the sponsored people was absent at the interview? Is it an automatical refusal if you are absent at the interview? It's the Vo in Manila,Philippines. Thank you.

there is a good chance as the interview was the time to clarify why they called an interview in the first place, what will happen is they will assess your case on the info they already have

Agreed.  They asked for the interview for a reason.  They probably have some doubts about the relationship or something else in regard to your application.  If you didn't show up, they could not get the answers to their questions so they will decide based on the information/doubts they have.

It can also be seen as a sign of disinterest that you do not do what they ask of you.  They may think you are not really interested in getting a visa after all.
